We recently completed a full walkway replacement or on Sage street in Fort Collins, turning an even grassy slope into a smooth, durable and attractive concrete path. This homeowner’s main priorities were a stylish, low-maintenance, and a durable concrete walkway that would improve accessibility, enhance curb appeal, and handle Colorado’s seasonal freeze-thaw cycles without cracking. They wanted a beautiful design that aligned with the home’s style while maintaining proper slope for drainage and long-term durability.
What We Did
- Cleared the existing lawn space and leveled the site
- Installed compacted gravel base for long-term drainage support
- Used laser-level tools to lay out symmetrical concrete panels
- Added fiber mesh reinforcement for added crack control
- Poured and finished the walkway with a broom texture and framed edge details for a beautiful visual contrast
