When a Fort Collins homeowner on Aruba Drive needed a safer and more accessible route from the side of their home to the backyard, Hugo’s Concrete stepped in with a custom solution. The client wanted a stylish and durable concrete walkway that could handle foot traffic year-round while blending seamlessly into the landscape.

We started by excavating and compacting the ground, followed by laying and securing rebar to reinforce the entire path. This included both the sidewalk along the house and a new walkway extension toward the backyard lawn, all carefully graded to ensure water drainage away from the house foundation.

After forming the layout, we poured a smooth broom-finished concrete surface, giving the walkway a clean, modern look with long-lasting performance — perfect for Northern Colorado’s shifting seasonal weather.
