Commercial Flatwork in Fort Collins
We pour commercial slabs, parking areas, sidewalks, curbs and gutters for businesses and property managers, built for daily traffic and Colorado weather.

Slabs, Parking Areas, Curbs & Gutters
Commercial concrete takes more abuse than almost anything at a home: customers, delivery trucks, snowplows and freeze-thaw cycles, every day of the year. We pour commercial flatwork in Fort Collins for businesses and property managers, including slabs, parking areas, sidewalks, curbs and gutters. Solid base preparation, planned drainage and properly placed control joints keep the surface level and safe for the people and vehicles that use it.
Curbs, Gutters and Sidewalks
Curbs and gutters control where water goes and give a property a clean, finished edge. We install standard curb and gutter, roll-down curbs where vehicles need to cross, straight barrier curbs that keep traffic on the pavement, and integral curb and gutter poured together for parking lots and commercial areas. Where a sidewalk runs along the curb, we can pour both in one monolithic pour for a uniform surface with fewer joints. We also form custom radius curbs for islands and landscape beds, and replace damaged or crumbling sections so they match the existing grade.
Slabs and Parking Areas
For parking pads, drive lanes and building slabs, the work starts below the surface. We excavate, compact the base and plan the slope so water drains off the concrete instead of sitting on it and freezing. Control joints are laid out so cracking stays where it belongs, and the finish is chosen for traction in a Colorado winter. If the building inside needs a coated or polished floor, our flooring crew handles that too, so one contractor covers the concrete inside and out.

Warning Signs
Signs Your Commercial Concrete Needs Work
Damaged curbs stop guiding water and look neglected to every customer who pulls in.
Standing water freezes, breaks down the surface and turns into a slip hazard in winter.
Sidewalk panels that have heaved or settled create uneven edges where people can trip.
Slabs that have cracked through or sunk under truck traffic usually point to a weak base underneath.

What Affects Commercial Flatwork Cost
Area and Linear Footage
The square footage of slabs and the linear feet of curb and gutter drive most of the material and labor.
Tear-Out and Haul-Away
Removing existing concrete or asphalt adds equipment time and disposal before new work can start.
Curb Type and Shape
Straight runs form quickly, while radius curbs, islands and integral curb and gutter take more forming.
