Front Walkway Replacement on Osage St in Fort Collins, CO
A neighbor's recommendation brought us to this home on Osage Street, where the way from the driveway to the porch was an uneven, grassy slope. The homeowner wanted a walkway that looked sharp, drained properly and would last.

The goal
The walkway needed to connect the driveway and the porch safely, keep a slope that sheds water, and suit the style of the house with a clean, modern look.
How we did it
- Cleared the lawn along the route and leveled the site.
- Placed and compacted a gravel base to support the walkway and help it drain.
- Laid out symmetrical panels with laser levels.
- Added fiber mesh reinforcement for crack control.
- Poured and broom finished each panel, then tooled a smooth frame around it for contrast.
The result
